About Me
My greatest passion is creating positive experiences for those around me. I am a problem solver and a critical thinker, and I love finding simple solutions to complex problems.
After graduating from Bucknell University, I entered Air Products & Chemicals' Career Development Program. I learned a tremendous amount about mechanical design and manufacturing in large scale projects, process controls, plant optimization, project management, and interacting with different functional groups within a large company. During my second assignment in the Career Development Program, I worked at a chemical plant in Los Angeles, where I spent a lot of time observing work processes, gathering feedback from the operators, and coming up with ways to make tasks easier and more efficient. I was often reminded of the design classes that I had loved when I was at Bucknell as I set out to develop ways to make life easier for the operators. I became an engineer because I wanted to use creative problem solving to help make the world a better place, and I began researching how I might be able to make a bigger impact through my career. I recently began a master's degree in Engineering Design & Innovation to transition my career towards human-centered design, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! I look forward to embarking on a new career path creating products and services that bring delightful experiences to those around me. |
